Exhibiting its invention products in the innovation fair, inaugurated by Mr. Amara Benyounes, Minister of Industrial Development and Promotion of investment, Mr. Chekkar has worked for 27 years at Sonelgaz in the area of operation and maintenance. But, his early retirement is entirely devoted, currently, to the activities of invention, in the sense that he is doing the research and scientific work, as well as of invention with the company Condor electronics. The gas leak detectors marketed in Algeria display a presence of gas and not a gas leak, according to him. Sponsored by Condor, the patented product, namely, the device "stop leak of domestic gas" has been deposited in 2008, "and it is an invention which is protected on the international level" he added. A second phase of production provides for the manufacture of domestic and industrial gas leak detector where it is a matter of producing industrial quantities meant for consumption and marketing. The prototype presented yesterday at the "Palais des expositions" of Safex will be produced on a large scale by Condor and will be placed for sale on the national market. This edition has been exclusively devoted to innovative SMES and inventors who have presented their ideas and their inventions in sectors as diverse as mechanical engineering, civil engineering, information and communication technologies, and also environment. The fair has been closed on December 10, 2013, in the presence of the Minister, by the award of the National Award for Innovation for the SMES in its 5th edition and the National Award of Invention in its 17th edition, annual awards presented by the MDIPI in order to encourage and reward innovative SMES and inventors.
